My Story 

Poppy, the founder and owner of POPPY PMU & Skin, is a highly skilled beauty and aesthetics professional with over eight years of experience in the ever-evolving beauty industry. Her career has been built on a genuine passion for enhancing natural beauty, supporting skin health, and helping clients feel confident in themselves.

Poppy began her journey in advanced skincare, specialising in dermaplaning facials. This early focus allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the skin, treatment safety, and client care — knowledge that would later become the foundation of her work in semi-permanent makeup. Working closely with clients and delivering visible, confidence-boosting results inspired her to expand her skillset and explore the artistry of SPMU.

As her expertise grew, Poppy trained extensively across multiple semi-permanent makeup techniques, refining her craft through hands-on experience and advanced education. She now specialises in a wide range of treatments, including microblading, lip blush, lip and eyeliner tattooing, and ombré/powder brows. Her approach is meticulous and detail-driven, with a strong emphasis on natural, bespoke results tailored to each client’s features, lifestyle, and skin type.

Throughout her career, Poppy has remained committed to continuous professional development, ensuring her techniques align with the latest industry standards and innovations. This dedication not only benefits her clients but also shapes the high-quality training she delivers through POPPY PMU & Skin, where she supports and mentors others entering the beauty and PMU industry.

More recently, Poppy has expanded her practice into health and wellbeing, recognising the powerful connection between internal health and external skin concerns. She now offers intolerance testing, helping clients identify potential sensitivities that may be impacting their skin, energy levels, and overall wellbeing. By providing personalised guidance alongside carefully selected products, Poppy supports clients in addressing skin concerns at the root cause — promoting healing and balance from the inside out.
